Kai Havertz suffers recurrence of injury and will return by the end of the year
Kai Havertz picked up an injury in August, and now the Germany head coach has revealed when he is expected back.
Details: According to Julian Nagelsmann, the German attacker has suffered a recurrence of his injury. Fortunately, the setback is minor, and Havertz should be back on the pitch soon.
Quote: “Kai Havertz has had a slight recurrence of his injury, but overall he feels good. He is expected to return by the end of the year,” Germany’s head coach said.
Earlier we reported that the Gunners continue to assess the condition of their centre-back. Arsenal fear Gabriel could miss between one and two months. Early indications suggest the defender is out for a spell, though testing is still ongoing.
Reminder: Riccardo Calafiori, who missed Italy’s match against Moldova with a thigh issue, has been ruled out of the final qualifier for the 2026 World Cup against Norway.
