Jwaneng Galaxy FC Part Ways with Head Coach Morena Ramoreboli Amid Botswana National Team Move
Morena Ramoreboli, the head coach of Jwaneng Galaxy FC, has formally resigned from her position and will now work full-time with the Botswana national team. Consequently, Blessings Moyo has been appointed as the club's interim head coach.
In order for Ramoreboli to concentrate on his personal obligations, particularly his new position with the Botswana national team, the club clarified that this choice was taken. Since October, Ramoreboli, 43, has served as the national team's interim head coach following Didier Gomes da Rosa's resignation.
During Ramoreboli's time as coach, the national team, known as the Zebras, qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), making it their second time at the tournament. His success includes important draws against Mauritania and Egypt on the last day of qualification, which helped Botswana secure a spot in the finals after more than ten years.
Since his hiring in 2021, Ramoreboli has led Jwaneng Galaxy to considerable success in both local and CAF tournaments. Now, it appears that he will focus on the national squad in an attempt to guide the Zebras to victory at AFCON 2025.
