Juventus winger Federico Chiesa couldn't recover in time for the Italian Cup match against Frosinone and won't be able to assist the Old Lady in this encounter.

Federico continues his recovery from a knee injury sustained at the end of December. According to Juventus' head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, the player is expected to return for the match against Sassuolo in the league (January 16).

The Italian Cup quarter-final match between Juventus and Frosinone is set to take place on Thursday, January 11, at 21:00 Central European Time.

In the current season, the 26-year-old Chiesa has played 17 matches for Juventus across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing two assists. The Old Lady holds the second spot in Serie A, trailing Inter by two points.

Earlier, it was reported that the Bianconeri had finalized the signing of a defender from the French league.
