On Tuesday, September 17, the new UEFA Champions League season kicked off. In the opening match, Juventus faced PSV on home turf.

The first goal of the game, and the Champions League season as a whole, was scored by young Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz. The winger received the ball on the edge of the box and curled it beautifully into the far corner. A magnificent first goal to start the new season!

At 19 years and 136 days old, Kenan Yildiz has become Juventus' youngest-ever goalscorer in Champions League history. The Turkish footballer surpassed Alessandro Del Piero, who was 20 years and 308 days old at the time.
