Details: Italy’s head coach, Luciano Spalletti, has called up Juventus central midfielder Manuel Locatelli for the upcoming fixtures against France and Belgium.
Locatelli replaces Torino’s central midfielder Samuele Ricci, who suffered an ankle injury in a recent match against Juventus.
So far this season, Locatelli has played 14 matches across all competitions for Juventus but has not contributed any goals or assists.
Reminder: Spalletti has included three newcomers in Italy’s squad for these upcoming matches.
On November 14, Italy will face Belgium away, and three days later, they’ll host France. Italy currently tops the group, holding a narrow one-point lead over France.
