Juventus is intensifying its efforts to secure the transfer of Atalanta's key midfielder, Teun Koopmeiners.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus has submitted an improved offer to Atalanta worth €52 million plus €7 million in bonuses.
Atalanta previously rejected a €50 million bid from Juventus. Koopmeiners is eager to join Juventus and is awaiting an agreement between the two clubs.
In the recently concluded season, Koopmeiners played 51 matches across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 7 assists. He also helped Atalanta win their first-ever UEFA Europa League trophy.
It’s worth noting that yesterday, Atalanta lost 0-2 to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup match.
