Juventus has made a decision regarding the potential transfer of Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

According to information from the renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano, the Turin club has rejected the loan of the player. It is reported that Juventus was not satisfied with the financial terms proposed by Manchester City for the deal.

It is noted that Newcastle, Manchester United and other clubs are also interested in Phillips' services.

Juventus will now focus on acquiring the central defender Thiago Djalo from Lille.

Phillips, 28, moved to Manchester City in the summer of 2022, with the club paying Leeds around 50 million euros. In the current season, the midfielder has participated in ten matches for the Citizens across all competitions, contributing with one assist.
Juventus currently holds the second position in the Serie A table, trailing Inter by five points, having played one match less.
