Juventus' primary goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczęsny, is edging closer to continuing his career at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs are nearing an agreement for a transfer fee of €19 million. The Polish goalkeeper is expected to sign a two-year contract with Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr's management believes that the absence of a top goalkeeper was one of the main reasons the team did not win any trophies last season and finished second in the Saudi Pro League.

It was previously reported that Juventus is set to sign Monza's primary goalkeeper, Michele Di Gregorio, who was named the best goalkeeper in Serie A last season, as Szczęsny's replacement.

Szczęsny joined Juventus in the summer of 2017 from Arsenal. Since then, he has made 252 appearances and kept 103 clean sheets for the Turin club.
