A fierce battle has erupted over the French Chelsea goalkeeper.
Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are closely monitoring the situation surrounding Milan’s 30-year-old shot-stopper Mike Maignan and are preparing to make a move if Maignan fails to agree a new deal with the Rossoneri.
The main rival for the Old Lady is London’s Chelsea, who have long been eager to bring Maignan to Stamford Bridge.
Milan, for their part, are doing everything in their power to retain the French goalkeeper and have already tabled an improved contract offer, though the player himself has yet to respond.
This season, Maignan has featured in 12 matches for Milan, conceding 9 goals and keeping 7 clean sheets. His current contract with Milan runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated at €25 million by Transfermarkt.
