Juventus are targeting Porto winger as an alternative to scandalized Manchester United player
Juventus is searching for a replacement for Federico Chiesa, whose contract expires next year, with both parties yet to reach an agreement on an extension.
The main candidate for this position was considered to be Manchester United's controversial winger Jadon Sancho. Mason Greenwood and Karim Adeyemi are also being considered for this role. However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin club is also monitoring Porto midfielder Francisco Conceição.
The young Portuguese's contract with Porto runs until 2029, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €22 million. Last season, he showcased excellent performances, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 43 matches. He was called up to the Portuguese national team for Euro 2024 and managed to score against the Czech Republic.
In Italy, the name Conceição is well-known, as Francisco's father, Sérgio, played for Lazio, Parma, and Inter from 1998 to 2004.
Let's also recall that today we reported that Inter announced the signing of Porto forward Mehdi Taremi.
