Juventus head coach Thiago Motta has identified a list of disgusted players, but to one of them the new manager has changed his anger into mercy.

It was midfielder Weston McKennie, and as reported by Florian Plettenberg, the Turin club are set to extend his contract.

It is believed that the new agreement will run until 2026. The parties are likely to sign the contract as early as this week. So far, the last nuances are being clarified.

Recall that the American, along with Wojciech Szczęsny and Federico Chiesa, was on the list of players to whom Motta pointed to the door.

But soon McKennie had a conversation with his manager and the latter returned him to the training process, saying that he now considers him part of the team.

The American was included in the squad for the first leg of the Serie A match against Como, but did not appear on the pitch, spending the entire game on the bench.
