"Just one phone call," - Carlo Ancelotti on the possible revival of Kroos' career
Toni Kroos has decided to end his playing career after the 2024 European Championship, and on June 1, he played his last match in a Real Madrid jersey.
In an interview with Relevo, Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his regret that the midfielder has chosen to retire, but mentioned that if Kroos decides to return to football, all it would take is one phone call.
"I have already told Toni Kroos... if he changes his mind, maybe in the next few months, just one phone call, and we will start again," said Carlo Ancelotti.
Kroos himself has stated that after retiring, he plans to spend time with his family. He also intends to develop his academy and continue hosting a podcast with his brother.
The legendary Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos surprised many by announcing his decision to retire at the age of 34. Euro 2024 will be the final tournament of his illustrious career.
Today, Kroos revealed his post-retirement plans. According to the footballer, he does not intend to return to Germany and will remain in Madrid.
