German coach Jürgen Klopp, currently without a managerial role following his departure from Liverpool, has shared glimpses of how he’s spending his first Christmas holiday in years. Taking to Instagram, Klopp posted photos and videos from a ski resort getaway.
The images show Klopp on skis, donning his trademark broad smile, clad in a bright orange ski suit and helmet against the stunning backdrop of snowy mountain slopes.
Starting in January, Klopp will take up his new position as the head of all football clubs within the Red Bull system. This decision has sparked outrage among fans in Germany, particularly supporters of Mainz, where Klopp began both his playing and managerial careers.
For now, it seems Klopp has recharged after a six-month break and is ready for his next challenge.
Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool began in October 2015 and saw him lead the team to the 2019 Champions League title and their long-awaited Premier League championship in 2020. Under his guidance, Liverpool also reached the Champions League final twice more, in 2018 and 2022.
