Liverpool's head coach criticized the team's supporters midweek, feeling the stadium lacked fervor despite their outstanding performance in the triumphant match against West Ham (5-1). The German coach once again addressed the fans, urging them to rise to the occasion when Arsenal visits Anfield.

Klopp conveyed:

"I understand the anticipation around matches against Arsenal because our clubs are two of the biggest in English football. But as this fixture falls just before Christmas, our opponents are positioned in the Premier League standings just as we are. The table might add an extra edge to the atmosphere.

I spoke about the atmosphere following our victory over West Ham United midweek, and the reason for that was simply because I know how electric Anfield can be and what significance it holds. One of the things I truly believe in football is that when fans and players sing, so to speak, the same anthem, they become a much more formidable force. There are so many examples of this, and many have occurred at this stadium, so it only makes sense to try and create more of that."

It's evident Klopp is eager to do everything possible to secure a win against Mikel Arteta's side, who enter this match just one point ahead of the Merseysiders. A victory at Anfield would serve as a significant boost for their championship aspirations and, more importantly, their morale during this intense festive period.
