Arsenal lack power in attack. Expert opinions after the match with Liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool couldn't determine a winner in today's head-to-head match and remained in the same positions in the Premier League table.

Arsenal is back at the top at Christmas, and Sky Sport experts, discussing the potential championship, highlight the excellent defense game of the team.

"Van Dijk played outstandingly today. We mentioned Saliba, and that's right, but these two have been the best central defenders in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal is pleased to take away one point from Anfield. They've earned just one point in their last two away games here and against Aston Villa, but in both games, they impressed me a lot.

Sometimes they lost the ball in dangerous areas, but they have two excellent central defenders and Rice. They are very difficult to break down.

At the moment, they are the best team in the league in defense. They have a long way to go, but they will definitely challenge for the title," - said former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher after the match.

His colleague Gary Neville believes that Arsenal lacks power in attack and criticized the Gunners' forwards.

"From an Arsenal point of view, the earned point here is a step forward. The question remains: do they have a center forward who will lead them to the title? Right now, they are where they want to be, they want to be back in the title race, and they are on the way to that," - he added.

As we see, the experts agree that Arsenal is capable of competing for the title. It's worth recalling that under Arteta's guidance, they also led at Christmas last year but ended up in second place.
