Joy after goal was short-lived: Mbappé injured in match against Atalanta and left the field early

However, the joy from the goal was short-lived for the French star. Still in the first half, Mbappé suffered an injury and was forced to leave the pitch prematurely, making way for Rodrygo.

Notably, Mbappé recently voiced concerns about the demanding number of matches throughout the year.

It’s worth mentioning that Mbappé himself admitted earlier that the start of the season hasn’t been ideal for either him or the team. Nonetheless, Real Madrid remains in contention for all available trophies.
