Journalist Piers Morgan called Manchester United coach a clown
The renowned British journalist Piers Morgan has labeled Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, as a clown.
On his Twitter (now X), the Briton posted a photograph of the manager of the "Red Devils" and captioned it: "How has this clown not been dismissed yet?". Additionally, he commented on the information that almost half of the dressing room has lost faith in ten Hag. Piers Morgan also inquired, "Only half?"
The journalist posted screenshots of his interview from last year with Cristiano Ronaldo and wrote: "Reminder: everything Cristiano told me about Manchester United and Erik ten Hag a year ago turned out to be true."
Recall that at Erik ten Hag's press conference, Manchester United did not admit some journalists. According to sources, journalists such as Kave Solhekol (Sky Sports), Samuel Luckhurst (Manchester Evening News), David McDonnell (The Mirror), and Rob Dawson (ESPN) were not allowed to communicate with the coach. It is reported that this decision was made on the instructions of the club's communications director, Andrew Ward.
Moreover, two Manchester United footballers are implicated in leaking information to the media from within the club. According to sources, there is frustration within Manchester United about this situation. Players are disappointed with the negative information leaks and believe it does not reflect the true picture of what is happening in the club. There are certain discrepancies in the dressing room, but the majority of the squad is outraged that media teams of specific players are preparing reports for the press.
