Joshua Zirkzee unhappy over failed winter transfer, set to leave Manchester United this summer
Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee has made a final decision to seek a transfer in the upcoming summer window.
Details: According to Sun Sport, Joshua Zirkzee is extremely dissatisfied with the Red Devils' management for blocking his move in January. The forward believes his development has stalled in Manchester and now intends to push for an exit from the English giants.
Interestingly, then-head coach Ruben Amorim was not completely opposed to parting ways with Zirkzee last winter. The Portuguese manager was ready to let him go, but the deal collapsed due to a shortage of personnel.
In January, the Red Devils lost Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo to international duty, leaving the club unable to further weaken their attacking options.
Zirkzee, who arrived from Bologna as one of the most promising strikers in Europe, has struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League. This season, the Dutch forward has registered two goals and one assist for Manchester United in all competitions. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €22 million.
Reminder: Manchester United has entered the race with Arsenal for Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi.
