Freiburg stands to make a hefty profit from their young prodigy.
Details: According to TeamTalk, Manchester United and London’s Arsenal have entered a fierce battle for the signature of 20-year-old Freiburg and Switzerland national team central midfielder Johan Manzambi.
The Red Devils see Manzambi as a long-term and high-quality replacement for Casemiro in the heart of midfield, but Arsenal are equally determined to bring the Swiss star to North London.

Freiburg is open to letting their midfield leader go, but they have made it clear that any deal below €50 million is off the table.
At this stage, representatives from both English giants are in contact with Manzambi’s camp, doing everything possible to convince the young talent to choose their club.
This season, Manzambi has featured in 31 matches, netting 4 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract with Freiburg runs until 2030, and Transfermarkt values his transfer fee at €30 million.
