Joseph Parker named his favorite in a potential bout between Joshua and Dubois
Interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker made a prediction for a potential fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
"If you compare these two fighters, their fighting styles, and the power they have displayed, Joshua looks like the favorite. I'm sure everyone will agree with that, but you can never count Dubois out, as many did before his fight with Hrgovic.
I considered Filip the favorite – I admit I was very wrong. So I give Dubois a chance, but Joshua will still be the favorite," Parker told Seconds Out.
Earlier, the IBF reported that they had not received a request to sanction a bout between Joshua and Dubois.
Promoter Eddie Hearn mentioned that negotiations for Anthony Joshua's next fight are in the final stages.
Over the past 11 months, Joshua has regained strong form and secured four convincing victories. He defeated Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou.
Dubois, at the beginning of June, knocked out the previously undefeated Filip Hrgovic.
