José Mourinho congratulates Inter Milan on 15th anniversary of Champions League triumph

Fenerbahçe head coach José Mourinho has shared his memories on another anniversary of his Inter team's Champions League victory. The Portuguese manager posted a commemorative message on his Instagram page.

Mourinho shared a group photo from the award ceremony after the Champions League final. In the picture, José stands with the trophy in his hands, surrounded by all the players and coaching staff.

The Portuguese coach also captioned the photo with the following phrase: “22 May 2010 Madrid Hugs to my people,and a very special one to Lucio ‘Come on, my friend, we're with you!’”

It should be noted that this special message for Brazilian Lucio comes as he was recently hospitalized in Brasília with multiple burns. The injuries occurred due to a fireplace explosion at the former footballer's home. The severity of his condition is currently unknown.

Let us recall that 15 years ago, Inter Milan defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 in the Champions League final at the Santiago Bernabéu. The hero of the match was Diego Milito, who netted both goals.

And very soon, on May 31, 2025, Inter will have a new chance to lift the most coveted European trophy when they face PSG.
