"My president!" José Mourinho congratulates former Inter president Massimo Moratti on his birthday

Fenerbahçe head coach José Mourinho took a trip down memory lane, recalling his days at Inter Milan. The Portuguese manager used his Instagram page to send birthday wishes to his former boss, then-Inter president Massimo Moratti.

Mourinho shared a photo of himself with Moratti from their triumphant Champions League final, captioning it: "My president! Best birthday wishes!"

It's worth remembering that under Moratti's presidency, with Mourinho at the helm, Inter secured their most recent Champions League title and became the first Italian club in history to achieve the treble. That unforgettable feat took place in 2010.

Notably, Mourinho left Inter immediately after that triumphant season, moving on to take charge of Real Madrid. Since then, neither he nor the Milanese club have managed to win the Champions League again.

Moratti, who turns 80 today, remained Inter's president and owner until 2013, when he sold the club to Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir.
