Jordan Ayew is full of confidence ahead of Ghana’s friendly against Wales
The Black Stars captain is optimistic about preparations for the World Cup.
Ghana have been on a training camp in Wales for the past few days ahead of the World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer. This build-up will feature an international friendly against Wales on Tuesday 2 June. Asked about the training camp ahead of the match, Ayew highlighted the squad’s commitment and the positive impact of manager Carlos Queiroz.
Jordan Ayew also noted how well the squad had taken on board the manager’s instructions, believing that his methods and ideas have had an impact within the squad.
“Training has been really, really good. The boys are committed, and the manager has come in and done a really, really good job. So, I guess that's acceptable. His ideas for us have been good and we've received them very well and are implementing them. We don't have time to wait. There's a game tomorrow. We're ready for tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.”
