Ghana Concede Late Equaliser as Wales Salvage 1-1 Draw in Cardiff Friendly
Ghana were left frustrated after conceding a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Wales in an international friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Black Stars looked on course for victory after a disciplined and controlled performance, taking the lead in the second half through Caleb Yirenkyi, who struck in the 67th minute to put Ghana ahead.
However, just when it seemed Ghana would secure a hard-fought win, Wales found a dramatic response deep into added time. In the 90+3 minute, substitute Charlie Koumas scored his first international goal to level the match and spark celebrations among the home fans.
