John Heitinga appointed as new Ajax head coach!

Ajax has reached an agreement with John Heitinga for the specialist’s move to Amsterdam.
Details: Heitinga has signed a contract with Ajax as head coach until June 30, 2027. Marcel Keizer will serve as his assistant, having signed a similar deal.
John Heitinga spent the last two seasons in the Premier League, working as an assistant coach at West Ham and Liverpool.
The coach is pleased with his new appointment:
I am incredibly excited to get started. The past few years in England have been invaluable for me. I was able to develop alongside David Moyes and Arne Slot, and I had the chance to peek behind the scenes at two major clubs. I am ready to continue my career as a head coach, and it is a great honor for me to receive this opportunity at Ajax.
