The Biathlon World Championships are currently underway in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, marking the final edition for the Bø brothers. One of them has now rewritten the sport’s history.

Details: On February 15, the men’s 10km sprint took place, with Johannes Bø claiming victory in 21:56.8 without missing a single shot. This was his 21st career win at the World Championships, making him the all-time record holder, surpassing fellow Norwegian legend Ole Einar Bjørndalen.

Meanwhile, his brother Tarjei Bø finished 10th, missing one shot and crossing the line one minute and two seconds behind Johannes.

Reminder: On January 18, Johannes Bø announced that he would retire at the end of the 2024/25 biathlon season. Tarjei later confirmed that he would also be stepping away from the sport.
