Job under threat? Conte to meet with Napoli board to discuss his future

Napoli’s 0–2 defeat to Bologna has placed Antonio Conte’s position under serious scrutiny, and a decision about his future could come very soon.

Details: According to Matteo Morotti, the Italian coach is set to meet with the club’s management to discuss the situation in detail. Both parties will carefully assess every aspect of this delicate moment to determine whether they should continue working together.

Napoli currently sit fourth in the Serie A table with 22 points from 11 matches, trailing the league leaders by just two points.

Earlier reports indicated that Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne might miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup after suffering a serious thigh injury during the match against Inter, in which he scored from the penalty spot in a 3–1 victory for the Neapolitans.

Reminder: Juventus have officially appointed a new head coach. Negotiations have concluded with 66-year-old Luciano Spalletti taking charge of the Turin side.
