João Cancelo to leave Al Hilal? Several European clubs interested in the defender

João Cancelo, unhappy with his time at Al Hilal, is looking to leave the Saudi club and already has several offers from Europe.

Details: The 31-year-old full-back could return to Europe during the winter transfer window. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, several clubs from top European leagues are interested in the Portuguese defender.

The strongest interest has come from Inter Milan, who have made an inquiry to Al Hilal regarding a possible loan deal for Cancelo. Additionally, Barcelona and Juventus—both clubs where Cancelo has previously played—have also shown interest in his situation.

In the 2025/26 season, Cancelo has played just six matches (470 minutes), provided two assists, and scored once. His current contract with Al Hilal runs until June 2027, and Transfermarkt currently values the player at 10 million euros.
