Jimmy Butler parties hours after being suspended by Miami Heat
According to TMZ, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler was spotted at an extravagant party just hours after the team suspended him for two games for missing the flight to Milwaukee for their game against the Bucks. Butler didn’t seem the least bit bothered by the suspension, as he appeared in high spirits.
The basketball player attended the Reserve Cup Draft & Dinner hosted by Moncayo Ocean Club on Wednesday night. Butler was all smiles and jokes, mingling with celebrities such as Andrew Schulz, Jerry Jeudy, and Wayne Boich.
Guests at the event noted Butler’s upbeat mood, with many snapping photos of him beaming with a big grin.
The party was a pre-event gathering for the Reserve Cup Miami, which takes place in South Florida from Thursday to Saturday. Butler is a co-captain of the festivities and an honorary chairman of the tournament.
Given the recent developments, it seems relations between Butler and the Heat have soured significantly. This has led to speculation that his time with the franchise may soon come to an end.
