Jesús Navas, the legendary figure of Sevilla, has officially played his final match for the Nervionenses.

Details. The 39-year-old Spaniard said goodbye to his lifelong club during a La Liga match against Real Madrid, where Sevilla fell to a 4-2 defeat.

Navas spent 66 minutes on the pitch, and before the game, players from both teams honored him with a guard of honor.

The Sevilla icon holds the record for most appearances for the club, having featured in 703 matches, during which he scored 39 goals and provided 119 assists.

Reminder. Navas is set to retire from professional football at the end of this year. Sevilla’s next match will be played in 2025.

The Spanish veteran signed a lifetime contract with Sevilla earlier this summer and will transition into an administrative role within the club after hanging up his boots.
