The former Manchester United midfielder has no plans to return to England.

Details: According to The Mirror, 33-year-old English attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard is on the verge of signing with Brazilian club Remo.

It is reported that Lingard previously held talks with English clubs, but only received offers from Championship sides. As a result, Lingard has decided to continue his career in Brazil’s Serie A.

Lingard’s most recent club was South Korean outfit FC Seoul, which he left earlier this year. Since then, the midfielder has remained a free agent.

During his stint with Seoul, Lingard made 69 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing 10 assists.

Throughout his career, Lingard has featured for clubs including Manchester United, Birmingham, Brighton, Derby County, West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Seoul.

Reminder: A new opportunity: Jesse Lingard could join Wrexham
