Jeanmonnot won the pursuit race by overtaking Preuss in a tight battle

Today, in the women's pursuit race at the first stage of the World Cup in Oestersund, the winner was French athlete Lou Jeanmonnot.

Two days ago, she won the sprint, and today she displayed the best performance in the pursuit race.

Jeanmonnot didn't miss any targets during shooting, but she crossed the finish line in a close battle with Germany's Franziska Preuss, with only a 0.3-second difference between them. Another German biathlete, Vanessa Voigt, completed the top three.
