Javier Aguirre sees World Cup Group A as 'piece of cake' for Mexico
Javier Aguirre does not see a threat from South Africa, Czech Republic and South Korea for his Mexico side in the World Cup.
The Mexico coach said he has encouraged his team to make use of the home ground advantage of hosting this spectacle.
Aguirre even referred to World Cup Group A as a ‘piece of cake’ for his side.
"When I saw the schedule and the home games, I said it's a piece of cake—we can't let it slip away," he told Mexican publication, Record.
Mexico play opening game against South Africa on June 11 in Mexico City and expectation is that they should dominate Bafana Bafana.
In a separate interview with Oem, Aguirre encouraged his side to make use of the home ground advantage and made example of England.
“That’s what I’m telling my players, playing at home is priceless. England were champions at home and never again; they disappeared,” he added.
