Jake Paul targets a fight with Tyson Fury in 2026
YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul made a bold statement ahead of his bout with former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, taking place on December 19 in Miami.
Details: At a press conference, Paul promised to knock out the Brit and then secure an even bigger showdown:
“Next year, I want to fight Tyson Fury,” Paul declared.
Paul insists he knows how to overcome Joshua in their eight-round clash:
“He’s one of the best heavyweights, but it’s actually tougher to fight a ‘smaller guy’—the speed, the footwork, the angles, the movement. I just need to avoid one punch for eight rounds—and I’ll be able to outbox him and win on points.”
Fired up by his own confidence, Paul stated that after beating Joshua, he intends to “shake up boxing,” take Eddie Hearn’s spot, and secure a fight against Tyson Fury in 2026.
“Don’t look past me. I’ll ruin all the plans. This will be Andy Ruiz 2.0,” the blogger said.
Reminder: Oleksandr Usyk has vacated the WBO title.
