Jaedin Rhodes completes move to SV Ried in Austria from Cape Town City
Jaedin Rhodes has completed his move from Cape Town City to Austria's SV Ried.
The attacking mdifelder leaves the Cape side as a direct replacement for fellow South African at SV Ried in Antonio van Wyk.
Van Wyk moved to the opposite direction by leaving the Bundesliga side for South African side Mameloidi Sundowns.
Rhodes left Cape Town City after missing out on promotion to the PSL via the Play-Off and the Mother City club will still be competing in the NFD next season.
Rhodes' new expressed joy at his arrival.
“After the departure of Antonio van Wyk, we were looking for a player who covers Toni’s strengths and is also a little more determined towards the opponent’s goal,” said Wolfgang Fiala, Managing Director at Ried.
“Since we have good experiences with South African players, the market was of course interesting for us.
“Jaedin is a direct player who is very good at pressing and has a good feeling for the depth. We are very pleased that he chose SV Oberbank Ried, although he had some other offers."
