Ivorian Striker Stéphane Bédi Joins JS Saoura to Revive Attack
JS Saoura is delighted to unveil the arrival of Ivorian forward Stéphane Bédi, a substantial reinforcement for the team. The 29-year-old, who topped the scoring charts in the Ivorian Ligue 1 during 2024 with a haul of 15 goals, has penned a deal valid until July 2025.
Clinical finisher, Bédi has played for FC San Pedro, Ajax Cape Town, TP Mazembe, and ASEC Mimosas. On the 23rd matchday of the Ivorian Ligue 1, he scored two goals to demonstrate his impact despite being sidelined by injury at the start of the 2024–25 season.
Positioned 13th in the Algerian premier division, JS Saoura is having a challenging season and sees Bédi as an important addition to improve their offensive capabilities. Along with Bédi, the team has strengthened its squad by adding defender Nasreddine Zaalani.
The challenge now for the Ivorian international A' will be to rapidly adjust to Algerian football and assist his new team in moving up the league standings. This season, JS Saoura's comeback may depend heavily on Bédi if he regains his best form.
