For an estimated 10 million euro, TSG Hoffenheim has acquired 18 year old Ivorian attacker Bazoumana Touré from Swedish team Hammarby IF. The Bundesliga team has agreed to long term contract with the talented attacker.

With 9 goals and 4 assists in 23 game, Touré had significant impact in Sweden. Last season, Hammarby finished second in the Swedish league thanks to his outstanding efforts.

Leading teams around Europe, including Brighton in the Premier League, expressed interest in the 18 year old, who's also member of the Ivory Coast u20 team.

Andreas Schicker, Hoffenheim's sports director, was thrilled to sign the gifted young player, pointing out his potential and alignment with the team's style of play.

Schicker also made it clear that Touré would have the time he needed to get used to his new surroundings and continue to grow.

Before relocating to Hammarby in 2024, Touré played for ASEC Mimosas in his home country of Ivory Coast.
