Ivan Jurić officially appointed as new Atalanta head coach
Gian Piero Gasperini had been at the helm of Atalanta for a long time, but after his departure, the Bergamo club has now found his successor.
Details: Atalanta has officially announced that Ivan Jurić is the new head coach of the team. Earlier reports indicated that his contract runs until 2027.
Ivan Jurić had been without a club since April of this year, when his contract with English side Southampton expired.
Incidentally, Roma has officially announced that Gian Piero Gasperini, who spent many years at Atalanta, is now the new head coach of the team. The contract with the new boss runs until 2028.
Reminder: Ivan Jurić previously managed Roma, Genoa, Torino, and Verona in Italy. His most recent club was Southampton, whom he was unable to keep in the Premier League.
