Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has long been out of the club's plans, will soon join a new team.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Bournemouth have agreed on a one-year loan deal for Kepa. The Spaniard had one year remaining on his contract with the London club, so to complete the transfer, he extended his contract by an additional year.
Today, Kepa will undergo all necessary medical tests and sign a contract with the "Cherries."
It’s worth noting that last season, after Thibaut Courtois’ injury, Kepa was loaned to Real Madrid. Initially, he was the starting goalkeeper for "Los Blancos," but later lost his place to Andriy Lunin.
Bournemouth’s primary goalkeeper in recent years has been Brazilian Neto.
