Details: According to The Independent, the Chelsea management have identified 46-year-old Spanish specialist Xavi as the leading contender for the club's managerial position.
It is reported that the Blues' bosses are eager to launch an entirely new project with sweeping changes within the club and believe Xavi is the perfect fit for the head coach role.

At the moment, Xavi is a free agent after leaving Barcelona in 2024.
Xavi previously managed Qatari side Al-Sadd.
