“It's sad to see that”. Mikel Arteta has backed ten Hag after his sacking from Manchester United

At the beginning of the week, Manchester United sacked head coach Erik ten Hag from his position.

Several football managers have shown support for the Dutchman after he lost his job, including Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta, who publicly expressed his backing for ten Hag.

Quote: "It's always sad to see one of our colleagues lose their job. I think he did a really good job, winning titles there and making significant changes. He is a phenomenal coach, and it’s tough.

Unfortunately, when such things happen, we as managers always find ourselves in the spotlight. Especially when you look at the way they lost the game, it was incredible. But they made a decision, and I wish him all the best in his new chapter," Arteta was quoted on Arsenal's official website.

Recall: Manchester United has already identified a successor for Erik ten Hag. Reports indicate that the new coach will be Sporting's Rúben Amorim.
