It’s over! It has finally been revealed whether Diomande will join Real Madrid

Madrid has finally put an end to one of this summer’s biggest transfer sagas.

Details: According to Sky Sport insider Florian Plettenberg, Real Madrid and RB Leipzig have reached a complete agreement regarding the transfer of 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande. The guaranteed transfer fee will be €125 million, and with additional payments and bonuses, the total package could reach €140 million.

The player will sign a long-term contract valid until the summer of 2031. Sources note that while there was little doubt about the deal’s completion, both clubs needed extra time to finalize the financial structure of the transfer.

For Real Madrid, this will be a record-breaking transfer, and Diomande will become the most expensive sale in RB Leipzig’s history.

It’s worth noting that last season, Yan Diomande played 36 matches for RB Leipzig across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists. His market value is estimated at €90 million by Transfermarkt.
