It's official. Manny Pacquiao has gotten his first opponent, but it's not Mario Barrios


Legendary 45-year-old Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 38 KOs) is returning to the ring.
Pacquiao will have an exhibition bout against 25-year-old Japanese MMA fighter Chihiro Suzuki on July 28. This was officially announced by the Rizin Fighting Federation.
The fight will be held in the limit to 68 kg. The bout is designed for 3 rounds of 3 minutes.
Earlier, it was reported that Pacquiao may hold an immediate title fight for the belt of the world champion under version WBC in the welterweight division against Mario Barrios. The meeting with Suzuki will show how ready Manny is for a comeback.
Pacquiao last fought in 2021 against Yordenis Ugas, losing by unanimous decision.
