It's official! Getafe sign Real Madrid midfielder on permanent deal

Details: Today, Getafe officially announced on their official page that 22-year-old holding midfielder Mario Martín is now a permanent member of the squad.

Reports state that Martín has signed a contract with Getafe until 2030. Previously owned by Real Madrid and playing for Getafe on loan, Getafe have now triggered the €3.5 million buyout clause to secure his services.

This season, Mario Martín has featured in 37 matches for Getafe, netting 4 goals and providing 2 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €10 million.
