Genoa have officially completed the signing of Roma midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi.
Details: The 23-year-old midfielder will play for the Griffins on loan, but the agreement includes a mandatory purchase clause effective from February 2027.
The reported total transfer fee is €10 million. Baldanzi himself has inked a deal with Genoa that keeps him at the club until 2030.
Tommaso has already featured for the club during the second half of last season, having joined Genoa on loan in January until the end of the campaign.
During that spell, the midfielder made 8 appearances for the Griffins, providing two assists.
Now, Genoa are betting on Baldanzi for the long haul, locking down the player after a challenging Serie A campaign. It's worth noting that Genoa finished last season in 16th place, while Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi has officially left the club.
