It's known if Arteta will face punishment for his strong words directed at the referees
Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta, has managed to avoid punishment for his strong criticism of the refereeing after the Premier League match against Newcastle (0-1).
The Independent Regulatory Commission deemed insufficient evidence to support the accusation against the Spanish coach for deliberately breaching the rules of the Football Association of England (FA) or insulting match officials.

Recall that Arsenal conceded a goal following an obvious refereeing error in favor of Newcastle. In the sequence leading to the goal, the referee did not notice the ball going out of play, and even after a VAR review, the decision remained unchanged.
Following the match, Arteta heavily criticized the refereeing team, labeling their work as a "disgrace." Despite being accused of intentionally breaching FA rules for his remarks, the coach has evaded punishment.
"It's a disgrace. It's embarrassing. That's how I feel and that's how everybody feels in that [dressing] room. You cannot imagine the amount of messages we've got saying this cannot continue. It's embarrassing. I'm sorry, embarrassing. I feel sick. That's how I feel. I feel sick to be part of this. It is not good enough and we cannot accept that." told Arteta after match.
Arsenal's defeat against Newcastle marked their first loss in the Premier League this season. The Gunners currently hold the second position in the Premier League standings. On December 17th, they will face Brighton.
