The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Netflix have officially announced a partnership for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, which will take place in Morocco.

Details: According to Micky Jnr, streaming giant Netflix will not only broadcast daily AFCON 2025 match highlights for countries south of the Sahara, but will also release an exclusive documentary film dedicated to the tournament.

For CAF, this marks its first major foray onto a global streaming platform, opening up African football to new audiences around the world. The Netflix documentary promises to showcase AFCON and African football from a completely new and previously unseen perspective.

It’s worth noting that the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has already become the tournament’s most successful edition in history, reaching fans in over 180 countries and territories. The partnership with Netflix is seen as a crucial step in the global growth and popularization of African football.

Worth mentioning, the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is heading toward its finale, with two semi-final matches scheduled for today:

  • 18:00 Senegal vs Egypt
  • 21:00 Nigeria vs Morocco

Reminder: Brama Traore resigned as head coach of Burkina Faso following their exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.
