Enrique could remain at PSG for several more years.

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Ben Jacobs on his social media page X, the PSG board is close to extending the contract with the 56-year-old head coach Luis Enrique.

It is reported that, at the moment, the contract has not been officially signed, but there is no panic in Paris, as a verbal agreement with Enrique had already been reached earlier.

Currently, PSG is fighting for the title in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Luis Enrique took charge of PSG in 2023. He delivered the long-awaited Champions League trophy to PSG in the 2024/25 season and now has the chance to lift the trophy again if his team defeats London’s Arsenal in the final.

Enrique has managed 170 matches at the helm of PSG, recording 119 wins, 27 draws, and 24 defeats. His current contract with PSG runs until the summer of 2027.

Reminder: One match left! The finalists of the 2026 Champions League are set
