‘It's a bit weird.’ Slot has spoken out about Liverpool's transfer campaign in the summer

Liverpool are the only Premier League team who have not officially made a single signing. This is already being laughed at on social media, but Merseysiders head coach Arne Slot remains calm.

The Dutchman is confident that even without the injection, the Reds' squad is quite strong:

‘I have said many times that our squad is very strong and it is not easy to find players who can help us or strengthen the team.

This argument I don't understand. If you don't strengthen the team, you become weaker? It's a bit weird because usually you either stay at the same level or I truly believe that on the training pitch you can help players and teams get better.

That's exactly what has happened here in recent years. The practice facility has really helped the team improve.

Maybe you mean that if clubs around you strengthen their team then maybe they get better, but it's not always true that if you bring in new players then the team gets stronger,’ The Independent quoted Slot as saying.
