The Italian national team is facing a serious personnel issue ahead of their crucial Euro 2024 group stage match against Croatia. Journalist Alfredo Pedullà reports that Inter defender Federico Dimarco is likely to miss the match against the Croatian team.

Dimarco sustained a bruise in the match against Spain (0-1) in the second round and missed today's training session on June 22. He started in the games against Albania (2-1) and Spain.

Notably, the 26-year-old fullback is Luciano Spalletti's primary choice for the left-back position. Matteo Darmian and Raoul Bellanova can also play in this position. It is likely that one of these two will replace Dimarco in the starting lineup.

The match against Croatia is scheduled for June 24. A draw will secure second place in the group for Italy, while Croatia needs a victory.
